What is a clone?

A cutting taken from a mature cannabis plant that grows into a genetically identical plant.

Why choose clones over seeds?

Clones remove the guesswork. They're already established (rooted), guaranteed female, and typically faster to grow than starting from seed.

Are your clones female?

YES, all of our clones are taken from verified female mother plants, so you won't have to worry about male plants in your garden.

What is the plant cycle for cannabis?

Clone / Seedling stage (~1-2 weeks), Vegetative Stage (the plant focuses on growing here, can last 3-8+ weeks), Flowering/Bloom Stage (the plant starts producing bud, can last ~6-10 weeks), and finally Harvest Stage (happens after flowering is complete ~6-10 weeks, drying typically takes about 1-2 weeks, then curing is another 2+ weeks)

How long should they be in the light for?

While they are growing (vegetative state) you can keep them under 24hr or 18/6 (most common). Which is 18 hours of light and 6 hours of dark. When you begin to flower your clone, it will require a 12/12 light cycle, 12 hours of light and 12 hours of dark. The 12/12 light cycle will trigger the plant to produce bud.

How do I transport my clone home safely?

Keep your clone(s) upright, avoid extreme heat or cold, and do not leave it in your car unattended for extended periods. We recommend getting it home and into a stable environment ASAP.

How often should I water my clone?

Water when the top 1" layer of soil feels quite dry. Overwatering is one of the most common mistakes - your plants need oxygen at the roots. Roughly about every 2-4 days but best to base if off the soil.

What should I do as soon as I get my clone home?

Place it in a well-lit environment (but not intense, direct light) and give it some time to adjust. Avoid overwatering - let the soil dry between waterings.

What kind of light does my clone need?

LED for indoor grows, gentle consistent light at first. Once established, they can handle stronger light as they move into vegetative stage. Growing by sunlight outdoors is also great as long as your plants are sun hardened.
